Fall changes

Fall greetings to all of you!

Thank you for your continuing loyalty to our business. Thanks also for sending so many of your friends to us. We are so very grateful as your referrals are what allow us to continue to serve you. Just want you all to know about a couple of updates that are coming up:

   1) We are enjoying a refreshing vacation from 9/24-10/2. We are continuing  to check our messages and emails so that we can schedule you for the following week.

  2) In order to reduce unnecessary expenses we are eliminating our land lines at our Rancho Bernardo and El Cajon offices. For all scheduling and questions please call Alex’s cell phone number

(619) 750-6343 or email us at whatareliefmassage@gmail.com.

These changes will be implemented over the next several weeks. When the phones are turned off you will be prompted to call the above number for at least six months.

  Thanks for your understanding, sincerely,

Alex, with What A Relief! MassageTherapy Center Inc.

P.S. Don’t forget when you send a new client to us you will receive a

Gift Certificate for a 30 minute massage along with our heartfelt appreciation!

The standard medical response to muscular injuries is still mostly pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs. The medication does little more than numb the pain and suppress the inflammation. The symptoms are effectively reduced, but these are the symptoms of the injury—not the injury itself. ~Body In Balance

The Man On Muscle at What A Relief! Massage therapy deals with the injury first, which relieves the symptoms and aids in the healing of the muscle injury! All without pain-inhibiting and anti-inflammatory drugs through the implementation of the PPM muscle therapy method.

Yelp! Help

What A Relief friends! We are now on Yelp.com and would really appreciate it if those of you who have been helped by us would write a short review about your experience with our business! Don’t forget the Pain Management Workshop Wednesday, May 4, at 6 pm!

Well Said

“Drugs never cure disease. they merely hush the  voice of nature’s protest, and pull down the danger signals she erects along the pathway of transgression. Any poison taken into the body must be reckoned with later even though it palliates present symptoms. Pain may disappear, but the patient will be left in a worse condition, though unconcious of it at the time.” -Daniel H. Kress, M.D.

“The cause of most diseases is in the drugs physicians superstitiously give in order to effect a cure.” -Charles E. Page, M.D.

“The person who takes medicine must recover twice, once from the disease, and once from the medicine.” – William Osler, M.D.

Integration

“It is a concert of muscles that make up a movement”

“The body is warned of injury through pain. Pain communicates through the whisper, the speak, the shout, and the scream of pain.”
